From the charming tree-lined runs of Morzine and Les Gets to the snow-sure, high-altitude terrain of Avoriaz at 1,800m, this combined area offers something for every level:

  • Morzine and Les Gets feature gentle, tree-lined runs perfect for beginners and intermediates, with a relaxed, scenic vibe.
  • Avoriaz, perched at 1,800m, guarantees excellent snow cover and offers a wide variety of terrain, from mellow slopes to challenging off-piste descents.

  • Freestyle parks and snow zones in Avoriaz, including The Stash—Europe’s first eco-friendly snow park
  • Family-friendly zones, gentle slopes, and top-rated ski schools

  • More demanding terrain with steeper slopes

Black runs (advanced) - Approx 30 slopes

  • For experienced skiers, with steep gradients and challenging terrain. Notable runs include the Swiss Wall (Le Mur) between Avoriaz and Les Crosets, and the Arare blacks in Avoriaz

The Portes du Soleil ski area is home to 11 snowparks, each offering a variety of features for freestyle skiers and snowboarders—from beginner-friendly lines to expert kickers and rails. These make it one of the most freestyle-friendly ski areas in Europe.

🇫🇷 France

  1. Avoriaz – The Stash
    A unique, eco-friendly snowpark built from natural wood features in the forest—great for freestyle with a twist.
  1. Avoriaz – Arare Snowpark
    The main park in Avoriaz with big jumps, rails, and kickers for advanced riders.
  1. Avoriaz – La Chapelle Snowpark
    Geared toward intermediates with a wide variety of features.
  1. Les Crosets (Park de la Chapelle)
    A fun park with jumps, rails, and lines for different skill levels.
  1. Les Gets – Mini Boarder & Snowpark
    Family-friendly and beginner-oriented freestyle area near the Chavannes side.
  1. Morzine – Penguin Park & Snow Zone
    Smaller fun zones and playful features, ideal for kids and beginners.
  1. Châtel – SmoothPark
    Located in the Super Châtel area, this park includes jumps, boxes, and rails for all levels.
  1. Châtel – Boardercross Course
    Fun for all ages, this timed course features banked turns and rollers.

  1. Champéry / Les Crosets – Superpark
    A well-maintained park with progressive lines for freestyle development.
  1. Morgins – Snowpark
    Compact but creative setup, often quieter and great for practicing.
  1. Torgon – Snowpark (availability can vary)
    Smaller park suited for kids and beginners, occasionally set up depending on snow conditions.

In total, the Portes du Soleil offers 11 snowparks, plus several boardercross and fun zones scattered across its resorts. These make it one of the most freestyle-friendly ski areas in Europe.
